Admission Procedure

Govt. Polytechnic Kargil is sole Institute in Kargil offering three years full time diploma programmes in the areas of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Civil Engineering approved by AICTE. The selection of the candidates is under the aegis of the competent authority J&K BOPEE, an authorized state government organisation which accomplish the selection procedure under specific government rules. The intake capacity of each branch is 30.

The State Board of Technical Education approves the curriculum and evaluation system, whereas the administrative and financial control is under the Directorate of Technical Education, in line with the rules and regulations laid by the state Government.
